Spring is here, shearing is around the corner, and you still have fiber left from last year! What should you do to make room for the new clip? Send some of your fiber to the SNPDC for the Fiber Festivals! Here are the requirements: 1) Select 4 oz - 1 lbs of white suri that is 3-6 inches in length and has some nice luster to it 2) Wash it following the instructions posted on the SN website - please remember, before washing your fiber, open up all the locks! The water will not penetrate the fiber if the locks are kept in tact. 3) Send it to Ann Mayes, Alpacas d'Auxvasse, 9266 County Rd. 1012, Auxvasse, MO 65231. It's that simple! Just remember, this is going to be the first time a lot of spinners are handling suri fleece, so we need you to send us your best. We thank everyone who has sent fiber in to date, but we need more participants! We cannot grow the market for suri fiber if no one knows about the fiber!
