At the writing of this, everyone should have received the latest issue of Purely Suri Magazine.  We are excited to be the only AOBA affiliate to publish its own magazine! We believe this high quality publication is just a small part of what the Suri Network does for you, the Suri breeder. In return, we hope you come to us first with your advertising dollars; after all, who else will use those funds to help further marketing, education and research for Suris?  Reservation forms for the next issue will be mailed out soon, so please support us with your advertising dollars. In an effort to make this a publication that really serves its members, we would like to publish editorial that fills your needs. We would like your input as to topics you would like to see addressed in future issues. We also can use your photos! We are not in a position to pay for photos, but you will receive personal credit for your contribution. No show pictures and of course nothing that has farm information…just your beautiful Suris! A particular picture we’d like for a future issue is of license plates that have Alpacas, Suris or something along that line…once again, no farm names, etc. Send your contribution for any or all the above directly to Mike Murphy, mike@flyingmranch.net. We are working on a future marketing editorial piece on women in the alpaca business. This will be an article that will focus more on the individual than their farm and will cover issues like: why you got in the business, how your life has changed, what you like best, any advantages or disadvantages to being a woman in the business, etc. We are looking for women who are either single or are the sole owner/ operator of the farm.
