2016 Herdsire Auction

MMALP Beau's Devaro

Beau's Devaro is a young guy full of amazing potential. This guy has a ton of presence. You can't help but stop and take another look. When you examine his fiber, it is full of luster and density. It is fine with a very slick handle as well. Devaro comes by this very naturally as his sire Black Beau is a third generation Futurity and National Champion and a 5th generation Color Champion. This will give you an opportunity to become a farm that has one of the very few 6th generation Color Champions. Both his sire and his dam have passed away, so there will be no repeat's of this guy! He is it and boy I truly believe he is IT!!!!!

At age two, Devaro's AFD was 19.2, with an SD of 4.8 and CV of 24.9.

BBFAI Devil's Cut

Devil's Cut - a superb white - is in the top 1% EPDs for AFD, Spin Fineness, and fibers greater than 30 microns. At two years of age his AFD was 17.9, SD 4., and CV 23.2. Outstanding bone and just one heck of an impressive guy!

What would one expect from a Mont Blanc son?

He is a full brother to BBFAI Fanta and BBFAI Crystal, both of whom have outstanding show records and fiber stats, and Devil's Cut shows the same spectacular regrowth that they both have. He is starting his breeding career this year. He has a fawn spot on his side; we are breeding him to color expecting to get color with the same outstanding fleece qualities that Devil's Cut shows.

Young Josef

Josef's fleece won the 2014 Suri Network Symposium Spin-Off, First Place, High Score 92 out of 100 points and Judge's Choice. Donna Rudd the Spin-Off judge commented that Josef's fleece was a pleasure to spin and will make wonderful yarn.

We showed Josef's fleece from our 2015 shearing and it did VERY well!

Josef's babies are now on the ground and they are stunning - locks, luster, density and an incredible handle!

2015 shearing micron results for this male are very impressive - especially at 5 years old:

AFD - 21.9
SD - 5.2
CV - 23.6%
%>30u - 6.6

Josef is a beautifully fleeced suri, with very fine, uniformly locked fleece, excellent coverage from head to toes, good conformation and a very easy going temperament.

NOTE: Josef has a medium fawn spot on his face that indicates to me, he will let color come through on his cria.

DKN Dakini Fiery Cross by Wyuna

Wow - just wow! Cross is continuing his winning ways in 2016 by taking Champion in every one of the 4 shows he was evaluated in and Judge's Choice at 2016 GWAS. We sheared him in 2015 and his re-growth is nothing short of spectacular - locks organized to the skin, outstanding luster, superior staple length, a wonderful silky hand and a solid,a regal stance that shows he's ready to work and a beautiful head-style that sure to make crias you'll want to see standing in your pasture. And his melt-in-your-hand fleece makes dreams of soft silky fabric in a beautiful carmel color a reality. He's the total package and we're looking forward to getting him working this summer.

2015 stats: AFD 18.1, SD 4.4, CV 24.3%

KBTA Kahuna's Josef

We love this male! Josef is the son of multi-champion Pucara's Kahuna and award winning dam, KBTA's Kerolyn. His genetics are packed with the best suri bloodlines...Kahuna, Armani, Miquel, Uribe. Josef's fine fleece is dense and locked to the skin. His first fleece AFD was a superfine 17.1 micron with an SD of 3.3 and is ranked in the top EPDS in the country. His second year fleece was a close 19 micron with a continued SD of 3.3. Halter and fleece show judges agree with his quantitative fleece stats. As a 6 month old, Josef placed second in a large competitive class at the 2014 Futurity Show. He was so fine and dense as a juvenile, we had to shear him and showed him in previously shorn classes as a yearling.  Most recently, Josef was awarded Color Champion and First Place at the 2016 Futurity Show for white male suri and First Place at the 2016 AOA Nationals Show. He won First Place and Color Champion at the 2016 CABA show in both halter and fleece.  He placed First at the 2015 Futurity Show and all his other 2015 spring shows. He won Reserve Champion at the AOA Nationals halter show as a shorn yearlong. He won Reserve Champion at the 2015 AOA National Fleece Show and also Reserve Champion at the 2015 Suri Network-All Suri Fleece Show.

In addition to his dense, superfine, uniform fleece and outstanding conformation, Josef has a very gentle personality and is a pleasure to work with.

Josef has outstanding rankings in the 2015 EPDs that confirm his genetic prepotence:  AFD--top 3%  SDAFD--top 2%  SF--top 3%  %>30--top 2%  MSL--top 5%  FW--top 6%
